Who it fits
Good fit for
This pack suits beginners who want a complete solution without hunting for separate gear. The inclusion of a gig bag and strap makes it ideal for players who need portability. The 10G amp’s headphone jack is perfect for those living in shared spaces or needing quiet practice. The single-coil pickups provide a versatile tone suitable for various genres. If you need everything in one box to start playing immediately, this bundle meets those needs.
Who should skip it
Players seeking high-volume performance should look elsewhere, as the 10G amp is designed for practice, not stage use. Those wanting advanced tone control will find the two-band equalizer limiting compared to more complex models. The Sonic series targets entry-level players, so experienced musicians may find the specs too basic. If you already own a guitar or prefer a different brand’s feel, this specific pack may not align with your existing setup or preferences.
Verdict: This pack provides a functional, all-in-one starting point for new players. The specs support learning and practice without unnecessary complexity.
Key specs explained for this pack
Included Amp Wattage: 10G
The Frontman 10G amplifier delivers 10 watts of power. This output level is sufficient for bedroom practice and small rooms without overwhelming volume. You can use the headphone jack for silent sessions, which helps you practice late at night without disturbing neighbors. This wattage is standard for entry-level electric guitar setups, making it a practical choice for beginners who need reliable sound at low volumes.
Weight: 32.5 pounds
The entire package weighs 32.5 pounds. This total includes the guitar, amplifier, gig bag, strap, and cable. You should consider this weight when planning transport. It is heavy enough to be stable during use but requires two hands or a sturdy bag for moving. This weight reflects the inclusion of multiple components rather than just the instrument, so you know exactly how much bulk you are handling.
Color: 2-Color Sunburst
The guitar features a 2-Color Sunburst finish. This classic aesthetic blends darker edges with a lighter center, offering a traditional look that appeals to many players. It is available alongside a Black option if you prefer a solid, uniform appearance. This finish choice allows you to select a visual style that matches your personal taste or stage presence without affecting the instrument's core performance or tone.
Width: 24.4 inches
The package width measures 24.4 inches. This dimension helps you determine storage requirements. You need a shelf or stand space that accommodates this width to keep the pack organized. When comparing electric guitar bundles, checking width ensures the item fits in your designated practice area or closet. This measurement applies to the boxed or bundled configuration, helping you plan your physical space effectively.

What Else You Need To Own
You already have the guitar, amp, and strap. However, you will need a tuner and extra strings. The included cable is ten inches long. You may want a longer one for comfortable amp placement. Check your local power outlets. The Frontman 10G uses a standard nine-volt adapter or DC input. Verify the jack fits your amp’s power socket. The gig bag offers basic protection. You should store the guitar in a dry place. Humidity changes can affect the wood and tuning stability. Wipe down the strings after playing to prevent corrosion. This pack sits at the entry level in Electric Guitars. It is ideal for beginners who want a complete setup without extra shopping. Other options may offer better hardware or pickups, but they lack this convenience. If you want to upgrade later, the standard jack allows easy amp swaps. Keep the manual for warranty claims, though we do not discuss costs here. Focus on learning basics first. The included Fender Play subscription helps with initial lessons. Use it consistently to build skills.
Check before you buy
- Verify your local power outlet type for the amp adapter.
